Ideally suited for aluminium and other non-ferrous metals, Kepler weld chasers (Also known as meat axes) are manufactured using high quality impact resistant carbide. All teeth are set with a negative rake so they lean back, minimizing the potential of the blade 'biting in' and causing an accident.

Weld chasers are ideally used in clutched angle grinders. This is to ensure that, should the blade 'bite' into the material, the clutch will activate much like a chainsaw brake, preventing the grinder kicking back and potentially injuring the user.
