The unequal pitch of the new ULTIMATECUT Countersink 4S is a key component in the redesigning of the way countersink holes are made, through producing a smooth and extremely quiet cutting action, eliminating chatter marks and creating a perfectly circular hole. The cutting loads are distributed across 4 razor sharp cutting edges, significantly reducing the axial and radial forces, to reduce the wear and increase the life of the tool. This unique cutting action also enables the range of sizes available, to be comfortably and efficiently used to drill holes upto 40mm using a hand held/pistol drill machines. The high performance RUKO coating – RUnaTEC will further extend tool life for the ULTIMATECUT Countersink 4S, through reducing tool wear whilst providing the facility to machine more exotic materials, including tempered steel.
